Yesterday I was extremely bored. My husband suggested I get a new hobby, my little brother recommended I play video games, my sister provided me with this awesome website (www.virtualapple.org). And on this website was Oregon Trail. Most should remember the game from 5th grade computer lab. But for others it was one of the first computer games on Apple. You traveled the Oregon Trail with your family and ran into such mishaps as cholera, thieves, crossing rivers, broken wagon axles, etc. Basically the same sort of problems we tackle on a daily basis now. I had such a fun time!!!! In fact I had such a fun time that I made the top ten list (see picture below). With New Kids on the Block back on tour and kids playing with slap bracelets and now Oregon Trail, I don’t know if I can handle such a blast from the past.
