As some of you may know my parking spot at our condo is on the top of a parking deck. So it’s uncovered and up three flights of stairs and takes five minutes to get from the top to the bottom driving (not that I am complaining).

With the snow forecast what it was I parked in underground parking at Harris Teeter (which is across the street from our condo). In the past the snow plows do more damage and bury my car in.

Last night, my husband was sweet enough to let me park in his covered spot at our condo and he parked at HT for the night. That way I didn’t have to hoof it over to HT in the slushy snow and ice in the morning and he had an excuse to get Starbucks. So today I thought I would return the favor and park in my parking spot on the roof and let Kenny have his cushy parking spot back. So I drove to the top and this is what my parking spot looks like. My spot is right in front of the light, to the left of the buried car. Needless to say I drove back down and parked in Kenny’s spot. I’ll have to save the sweetness for another day.
