Everyone remembers the old school Mario Brothers game for the first generation Nintendo – wishing and praying for the other player to die so you can play, blowing on the cartridge to get it to play, not turning off the game for days because you couldn’t save it. Oh how I loved that game!
When Kenny and I got a Wii as a wedding gift (Thanks Angie!) I immediately downloaded Mario Bros., but it just wasn’t the same. Then I found out that they were coming out with a new Super Mario Bros. for the Wii. I was so excited and HAD to have it. Unfortunately it came out during my birthday/Christmas and by the rules I couldn’t purchase an item that was on my list for myself. It was killing me, especially when we got snowed in for the weekend. But it worked out in the long run, my mom pulled through (as always) and gave it to me for Christmas.
I LOVE it! Kenny and I have been playing it non-stop. I was just as excited when I found these adorable cakes and cupcakes on it’s in the details blog today.
