This one looks like a cupcake, but is really a big chocolate cupcake.
It’s called a Smash Cake and is made by Cocoa Pod and I saw it featured on the Barefoot Contessa. For $90 you get the chocolate cake and the mallet. You use the mallet to break up the cake, hence the smash. And it is filled with truffles and more chocolate. Kind of like a pinata.
A little expensive but it looks beautiful, is probably very delicious, and who doesn’t like smashing things.
