The last book I read was The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. It was quite a disappointment for all the hype. I really enjoyed The Da Vinci Code but was very let down by the new book. I do not recommend this book.
Now I’m reading Pretty in Plaid by Jen Lancaster. It was recommended to me a while back by an attorney friend and it took me this long on the library list to get it. I’m about half way through and I LOVE it. The book is made up about different stories in Jeni’s life which all relate to an item of clothing. I completely relate to the story line. From the allergy shots, to white prom dress, to gaining so much wait in Europe her loose pants were tight on the way home. It is great book and I highly recommend it.
The next book I’m going to read is Mercury in Retrograde by Paula Froelich.

I love ink and green! In fact they were the colors for my wedding!
How adorable is this market basket! And of course, you can get it monogrammed!
And this trash can fit for a princess!
I need, yes need, these bags!
Pink, green, cupcake, monogrammed - my little girl will own this outfit . So sweet!!!!

I LOVE cupcakes! They are so cute and sweet and yummy and fun!
These Strawberry-Lime Stuffed Cupcakes are so creative and sound delicious. You can get the recipe at Food Network. If you make them, let me know how they taste. Better yet, SHARE!

How absolutely adorable are these plates from Boatman Geller! Of course I do love anything monogrammed!
You can’t get them online but you can put in your zip code and find a store near you. I’m not sure how much they cost, but they look priceless!!!
Of course the blue damask is my favorite. For you animal print lovers a little zebra print. Fun flowers! And a beach theme. These are just a few of my favorites, check out the website and a store near you for more.

So the title enticed you? Yes, this video is pole dancing and for the first couple seconds you think this is dirty. And after those seconds you start to think that is unbelievable, what upper body strength, HOLY COW….or at least that’s what I was thinking.
For my bachelorrette party we took a pole dancing class. After the class we all had a new appreciation for dancers. And the next day we were in excruciating pain and couldn’t move our arms.
Last weekend I went to a Baby Shower for my friend Danielle who is expecting a baby girl in January. I am very happy for her! Danielle got a lot of super cute pink clothes and blankets at the shower. Her little girl is going to be a snazzy dresser.
Below is a picture of Danielle, Brandy and I. Brandy was one of the hostesses and another friend from high school (love her zebra sweater). Brandy had someone at her office make the absolutely adorable cake. It was delicious too!
