How cute are these cupcake papers featured on Cupcakes Take the Cake? I can’t decide which one I love most the skull and cross bones, the flowers, the damask, the green and white polka-dots.

I read this quote in Glamour magazine and loved it so much that I had to share.
“An older woman told me something that stayed with me. I asked her how she stayed married so long. Her reply, ‘We never both fell out of love at the same time.’ I love that, because no matter how much we want to deny it, there are times we want to throw our boyfriends or husbands overboard and vice versa. But as long as someone is trying, then you can make it.”

For Valentine’s Day all I asked for was a box of chocolates. Kenny went above and beyond and got me these beautiful, awesome and unique chocolates from Co Co. Sala. Flavors include PB&J, Pear Caramel, Curry Coconut, Java, Orange and so on.

For Valentine’s Day I made Kenny a yummy dinner. I actually got the recipe from Cosmo magazine and it was really good. We had an argula salad with a dijon vinaigrette (I made it) and lobster pot pie. The lobster pot pie was a lot easier to make than I expected and very delicious.
Flowers are by Loda Floral Design.

For dessert we had rum laced chocolate fondue with star fruit, strawberries and cheesecake for dippers. The star fruit looked pretty but not really that great. You can never go wrong with strawberries and chocolate. We used the Sara Lee Cheesecake Bites and they were the perfect size and so easy.

These pictures are from earlier this week, back when snow was fun.
Kenny was enjoying a seat on a bench in our courtyard
I was going for a snow angel and then Kenny just started burying me. Afterwards he wondered why my pants were so wet.

(Theme not intentional) This bag lets you carry wet items in a non-leaking pocket and then your dry items in a seperate pocket. It's washable! And comes in a variety of colors!
Planet Wise markets it for diapers, swim wear, shoes, cosmetics, gym clothes, etc. I'm guessing diapers are the primary use. I'm not there yet, but pretty cool concept!

I love the "green" idea of these reusable sandwich bags. Kenny and I take our lunch almost everyday and these would save on sandwich bags and money. They also come in a snack size! These are two of my favorite prints. Check out
snackTAXI for more prints!

How cute is this pre-teen girl's bedroom? (Pictures taken with iPhone, does not give the room justice) I love the white iron bed, how girly. I had a gold post bed growing up and loved it! The black and white bedding is to die for, especially with the pale pink paint. And of course I love all things monogrammed so the polka-dotted initial above the bed is perfection!
