Waxing Poetic
I love wax seals. Their is something classic, yet ancient to them. They are a tiny little work of art that requires a lot of skill and patience. One of my favorite things about my wedding invitations was the wax seal. Skill and patience we had to work on and we quickly learned we would be better off in making the seals on wax paper and gluing them to the invitations.

Blake Lively
I am no fashion expert. I wouldn’t take me to the mall with you to tell you what looks, what looks bad, etc. I often look in the mirror and say I’m not so sure about this one. But I feel like if I saw myself wearing this I would know somethings not right.
At first glance she looks really cute with her boyfriends shirt in that beautiful shade of blue. And then the funny sparkly flirty skirt. And I might even be able to get over the belt situation as a “fashion statement”. But seeing the short bottom poke out beneath the skirt is just unacceptable. I’ve heard her say she doesn’t use a stylish, and generally she is spot on, but someone please have Rachael Zoe call her because this is “BANANAS!”

A Pop of Color
I love this photo from a wedding featured on Postcards and Pretties. Of course the best part is the pop of color. From the beautiful purple dresses to the fun shoes with matching earrings. It looks so fun, yet so perfect! I am very impressed with the bride who went this bold, I wish I had the guts! And the bouquets are beautiful!!! 3 years ago this would have been my inspiration in planning my wedding.

Dream Closet
This is my dream closet. I love the simplicity and the organization. The white is beautiful. I love the ottoman in the center, I would sit on it and admire my closet as I would a work of art. And I love the hardwood floors. Jealousy!!!!
A few weeks ago I was obsessing about hangers. I hate my white plastic hangers with a passion. So I went to The Container Store, with a limit, and purchased new hangers. Of course my husband freaked and told me I can’t buy anymore hangers until 2011 but I love them!!!! Luckily for me my mother-in-law was nice enough to buy me more hangers, I think she did it more to spite my husband.

Shoes
I LOVE these shoes, worn by Leighton Meester at the Teen Choice Award’s (nothing else was on and my DVR replaced so I had no recorded shows). Before you even say it, I know they are over the top. The platform, the netting, the carnation but OMG how can you not love the heels. I want a pair of shoes with glitter heels!
