The last book I read was The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. It was quite a disappointment for all the hype. I really enjoyed The Da Vinci Code but was very let down by the new book. I do not recommend this book.

Now I’m reading Pretty in Plaid by Jen Lancaster. It was recommended to me a while back by an attorney friend and it took me this long on the library list to get it. I’m about half way through and I LOVE it. The book is made up about different stories in Jeni’s life which all relate to an item of clothing. I completely relate to the story line. From the allergy shots, to white prom dress, to gaining so much wait in Europe her loose pants were tight on the way home. It is great book and I highly recommend it.

The next book I’m going to read is Mercury in Retrograde by Paula Froelich.

I have a new favorite website – Shelfari. This website is great for book lovers. You create your own book shelf and fill it up with books you’ve read, ones you want to read and what you are reading right now. You can rate the books and add comments. My favorite part is that you can go and look at other people’s bookshelves. You can see what they’ve read, how many people have read that same book, what the rating is. It gives someone like me who loves to read but never knows what to read an idea of what’s out there. And more importantly what’s good.
